STEP 1: Brainstorm! Collaborate! Create! Get together with your friends and make a cinematic masterpiece. All you need is an idea and a camera. Your film can be any style or genre you want - drama, animation, film noir, western, epic adventure, experimental - the ball is in your court!
STEP 2: Edit and Finish! Once all the filming is done, do whatever preparing or editing you need to do before sending it in. You can send it in on either a DVD or as a high-quality QuickTime file (but don't send your master copy - it won't be returned!).
STEP 3: Submit, Submit, Submit! Once everything is ready to go, submit your masterpiece! You will need to include:
- The 2012 submission form filled out completely. It can be found here: 2012 MSFF Submission Form.
- The DVD or high-quality QuickTime copy of your film (Please double check to make sure it works properly)
- A $5.00 submission fee (in US funds only made out to "Mosaic Film Project") via PayPal or a money order (but please no personal checks.) If using a credit card please use the button below to pay via PayPal. Make sure to save/print a copy of the PayPal transaction for your records.
(NOTE: All student filmmakers selected for the event will receive (1) complimentary ticket to the festival.)
That's all it takes!!
Submissions must be postmarked or received no later than Saturday June 16th, 2012 to be considered for the 2012 fest. Be sure that your film follows the guidelines and make sure to completely fill out the submission form to be sent in with your film. Please use one form per film.

STEP 4: Cross Your Fingers! Our panel of industry professionals will review your films after the final submission deadline and we'll let you know By July 14th, 2012 whether or not your film has been selected for this year's Mosaic Student Film Festival. Good luck!
